A Plus Reveals “Adwoa Sarfo Will Not Vote On E Levy”

Kwame Asare Obeng also known as A Plus has revealed that the MP for Dome Kwabenya has decided not to vote in the controversial E Levy. According to the ‘ mesuro nso’ hit maker, Hon. Sarah Adwoa Sarfo took the decision due to her feud with the ruling NPP and Nana Akufo Addo.

It will be recalled that, during the 7th Parliament, Adwoa Sarfo was the deputy majority leader. But in the 8th Parliament, her position was snatched from her and given to Hon. Afenyo Markins. She was however compensated with a ministerial position, something she has never been happy about.

As minister for and social protection, the daughter of a renowned Ghanaian engeneer Apostle Kwadwo Sarfo felt her hands were being tied by the president. She sacked the CEO of Ghana School Feeding Program Mrs. Gertrude Quashigah but the president reinstated her.

The minister went on leave last August and was substituted by Hon. Cecilia Abena Dapaa. She has since not resumed duty according to information available even though she is in town.

It is alleged that the NPP MP was not in Ghana when the 2022 budget was laid in parliament in November last year. An imposter was allegedly made to vote on her behalf, an allegation the minority is investigating.

The feud between the NPP and the Adwoa Sarfo seems to have developed wings this time around. According to Kwame A Plus, the MP has stated categorically that unless she is made the deputy majority leader, she will not vote for E Levy. This he said accounts for the delay in laying the bill before Parliament. All attempts to convince the young legislator to rescind her decision have proofed futile.

What do you think about this? Is Adwoa Sarfo doing the right thing at all or she is just sabotaging the government? Take to the comments section to share your thoughts.
