DIAMOND CEMENT BUILT TWO UNIT CLASSROOM FOR THE PEOPLE OF BOKRO COMMUNITY IN THE AHANTA WEST DISTRCT, WESTERN REGION

On the 14th of August,2021. The Western Diamond Cement Company limited handed over two unit classroom for the people of Bokro Community in the Ahanta West District. This project was done for the community as part of the social cooperate responsibility of the company.

Sharp FM, reporter (Mr. Philip) asked the reason why this project was done at Bokro community and the respond was, the community elders informed the diamond cement company that they need cement and sand to build new classroom block for the children of the community, the old classroom was at a very deplorable state and that touched the heart of the management of diamond cement company.

Fortunately, where the company is operating, is on the land of Bokro Community so at the end . The management of the diamond cement company were happy about the positive impact, they have impacted in the community they are working with. The community gate keepers like the Nananom, community opinion leaders among others were also happy for the project being handed over to the community and this project will help the community from now and the future of the community members.

The management of diamond cement and the community leaders urge the other companies who are operating within and outside the community should emulate this act and come to the aid of the Bokro community.
