Member of Parliament for the good people of North Tongu, Honorable Okudzeto Ablakwa has finally released the main trick which NPP used against them in passing the Electronic levy tax.
Speaking in an exclusive interview on Okay FM, Okudzeto Ablakwa explained that their member of Parliament for Tamale was intentionally invited by government to attend the commissioning of the Tamale interchange.
” It actually took us unaware. Before we realised, he was gone while the Roads Minister who was officially supposed to be at the interchange commissioning, was present in Parliament ” Okudzeto Ablakwa explained.
Per the explanation given by Okudzeto Ablakwa, then it clearly shows that the Tamale MP was invited to the interchange commissioning just to reduce the number of NDC MPs in the House.
Well, how smart the NPP could be. And what stopped the Tamale MP from informing the minority leader that he has been invited for such a function?
Should we believe in Okudzeto Ablakwa’s assertion that they were tricked or what ? Les I forget. Adwoa Safo was also absent on that day. Meaning if there was any voting, none of them ( majority and minority) would have won.
The NDC however chose to walk out. Such an interesting spectacle.
