Former President John Dramani Mahama has disputed the claims by EC Chair Jean Mensa, that the 2020 General Election was the best election the country has ever had.
According to him,
the EC boss failed to give account to the people of Ghana at the Supreme Court concern He alleged rigging of 2020 elections.
His comments came in the wake of the EC boss making a claims at the ECOWAS Parliament meeting that 2020 general elections was the best Ghana has ever had.
Former President John Dramini made the remarks when he paid a courtesy call on Nana Nterboah Pra IV, the Divisional Chief of Prestea at his palace as part on his one day ‘Thank You’ tour to the Western Region.
The visit was to thank the people of the Western Region for their support and votes for him and the party in the 2020 general elections.
Mr. Mahama who recounted on several developmental projects his administration executed during his regime as president and promised to continue when given the mandate come 2024.
He lamented over the action of the President Akufo-Addo’s government abandoning the projects he undertook during his tenure of office, which accordinging to him was an exercise to waste the taxpayers money.

The Divisional Chief of Prestea Himan in the Prestea Huni Valley Municipality of the Western Region, Nana Nterboah Pra IV, also in an address admonished Members Parliament to all vote for the passage of the anti-LGBTQI+ bill that is before parliament, when they resume from recess.
He told the MP for Prestea Huni-Valley to make his vote against the practice of homosexual open to address any doubt in the people of Prestea other than that he should forget the Prestea seat come 2024.
He demanded that all the MPs should declare their stance on the LGBTQI+

The former President Mahama was accompanied by his running mate, Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyeman, Prof. Joshua Alabi, former Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah, Western Regional Chairman of the party, Nana Toku, Emmauel Armah Kofi Buah, former Energy Minister, Kojo Oppong Fosu, former Local Government and Environment Minister, and other party executives and former Ministers of State including current NDC MPs.
